A new Ladies Only Circuit offer and the return of Spin Class are two key changes to our timetable in Term 2, which begins on April 18.

Nick Hose said he was pumped to have local cyclist George Watson taking Spin Class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, after the class took a hiatus over the warmer months.

“With the days getting shorter and cooler, the time was right to bring our Spin Class back and George is really excited to take charge and run the sessions,” he said.

“Whether you’re a cyclist or a beginner, Spin class is suitable for everyone. It involves high-intensity aerobic and resistance training techniques aimed at burning calories, blasting fat and improving muscle tone.”

Nick said Term 2 would also see the introduction of a $25 Ladies Only Circuit offer.

“Previously we had Ladies Only Circuit classes at 9am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and like all our classes they were $10 each,” he said.

“In Term 2, we’ve added another Ladies Only Class at 9am on Thursdays and for $25 a week, women can attend all four classes if they like.

“It’s not only about making it affordable to attend more sessions, but the idea is to also provide more flexibility for women so that they can fit their workouts in around their busy lives.”

Nick said a separate Ladies Only Circuit will still be offered for $10 at 6.15pm each Monday night for women who couldn’t attend the 9am sessions.

“We’re continually evolving the timetable to make sure it is as convenient as possible for people and caters for the needs of our local community,” he said.

“In addition to the Spin and Ladies Only Circuit, we’ve still got our popular KidsFit classes as well as Boxing, Metafit, Boot Camp, Yoga, Powerbar and Masters Class, which was new in Term 1 and provides an opportunity for seniors to safely and effectively workout together in a social environment.”
