Rise & Grind: Our own coffee & juice bar

Nick Hose Fitness Rise and Grind Coffee and Juice BarCamperdown’s brand new coffee and juice bar will open for business on Saturday, June 4.

Rise & Grind will operate from inside Nick Hose Fitness – the town’s new gym which opens the very same day in the redeveloped FoodWorks supermarket building at 2 Brooke Street.

Business owner Nick Hose said he was excited to announce that Rise & Grind would use beans from Piccolo Coffee Roasters in Warrnambool and that an express takeaway service would be available via the popular Skip app.

“We’re really pleased that we’ll be using Piccolo’s award winning Lighthouse Blend to produce first-class coffee right here in the gym,” he said.

“Piccolo Coffee Roasters is owned and operated by Jon and Olivia Darcy who both went to school here in Camperdown. Not only are they local, but they roast the beans themselves, control their own quality and the product is developing a real following across the region.”

Nick said Camperdown’s Taylor and Karen Harlock would run the coffee and juice bar, in addition to the gym’s customer service area.

“I’m excited to have Taylor and Karen onboard – their customer service focus will be a real asset to the whole business,” he said.

“Im also excited that people will be able to pre-order coffees and juices on the Skip app and pop in to pick them up without having to wait.  There’s also great potential for people who are using the gym to organise their takeaway coffee for when they’re leaving.

“Everyone is welcome at Rise & Grind – you don’t have to be a gym user.” – Nick Hose
