An exciting casual job opportunity exists for an experienced coffee maker at Rise and Grind in Camperdown. Rise and Grind is the coffee and juice bar that operates from within Nick Hose Fitness.

We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in a cafe environment making quality coffees. We use beans from Kazbah Coffee Roasters in Birregurra who are well known for their high quality blends.

Up to 20 hours a week is available for someone who can demonstrate a passion for coffee.

The position will suit someone who would enjoy having the middle of the day to do other things. The standard shifts would be 6.30am to about 10.30am and again from 3.30pm to 6.00pm on weekdays.

With other existing casual staff, there may be opportunities for the right person to only work mornings or mix and match shifts to suit their personal circumstances.

Our casual cafe staff also assist with reception tasks associated with the operation of Nick Hose Fitness, such as answering the phone, taking messages, bookings and payments. No experience with these additional tasks is required. Training will be provided.

The successful applicant will present well, display good personal hygiene, have a positive can-do attitude and be able to work unsupervised.

Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant – at or above the award rate depending on experience.
